Compex Ayre Compression Boots Benefits
I’ve spent hundreds of hours experimenting with different types of recovery techniques and compression is by far one of my favorites. I absolutely love compression pants for post run recovery (especially after races), use compression socks during and after runs and have really enjoyed using compression boots to get optimal recovery results.
Improving bloodflow and circulation in the legs helps promote faster healing and decreased achiness so that you can find quicker relief. This type of compression boot is designed exactly for that purpose, to improve circulation and aid faster recovery. They’re built for use by therapists, coaches, elite and recreational athletes on-the-go and work by intermittent pneumatic compression, which basically means that pockets of the compression boots fill with air to squeeze your legs in a systematic pattern. Compression boots are a simple and convenient portable massager.

My Compex Ayre Compression Boots Review
Like I said earlier, I personally love compression recovery but going from a compression sock or compression pants to compression boots is a big jump in price that most can’t afford or don’t want to spend. In my opinion, the Compex Ayre Compression Boots are a great middle ground that provides decent quality at a decent price. It is well built, easy to use and provides many great features of convenience and comfort. I give it a 4.5 star rating, but mostly because it’s a bit pricy. Others have mentioned minor issues over time but the 2 year warranty provides a great length of protection against any possible malfunctions.

Negative Reviews
Does not fit large ankles/ feet. I wear size 15 and it was a struggle to put on and off. Had to return for other product.

Good for a budget but lacks features. Not very good but cheaper than Normatec. If you need a budget price, this isn’t bad.

Compression Boots Summary
When exercising, the body builds up lactic acid as a biproduct of muscle contraction. Compression boots work to break up these small molecules and send stimulus to your nervous system and are designed to help improve blood flow and circulation in the legs by mobilizing lactic acid, access fluids, and other toxins. Leg compression systems use a dynamic pulsing compression up the legs in waves for the duration of its use, which helps promote quick healing.
